About This Tour
From the early pages of the Bible, the country of Egypt is recorded as a land that provided refuge and shelter to many of God’s chosen people – Abram and Sarai, Joseph followed by his father Jacob (Israel) and their families.
The rescue and redemption of the Israelites after 400 years of slavery with the Exodus and the protection afforded Joseph and Mary and the infant Jesus from the evil intent of Herod all are formative events.
